Mark Stokes

Managing Director

Mark Stokes is a Managing Director with Teneo in New York. Since joining the firm almost a decade ago, his time has been split between New York and London – Teneo’s two largest offices – helping drive integration and manage significant client assignments across multiple jurisdictions.

During his tenure at Teneo, Mark has worked closely on issues including executive transitions, crisis & litigation, and M&A for some of the firm’s largest clients. He has worked across various industries including technology, financial services, healthcare, transportation & logistics, consumer goods, and automotive. In addition to working with clients across the United States and the United Kingdom, his assignments have involved extensive international experience in countries including Japan, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Canada.

Mark’s background is political and policy-facing. As Youth Policy Director of Ireland’s lead Opposition party, Fianna Fáil, he oversaw policy development and campaigns on the retention of the upper house of the Irish parliament and the yearly national budget. As a Governor of University College Dublin, Ireland’s largest third-level institution, he gained experience in reputation management and stakeholder engagement.

He is a former Director of the London Irish Graduate Network, a group dedicated to helping top Irish talent in London successfully develop their careers.

Mark is a graduate of University College Dublin, with a BA in Economics and Politics, and holds an Irish passport and U.S. green card.
