Senior Vice President

Mariem Elsayed is a Senior Vice President with Teneo, based in Montreal. She brings 20 years of experience in a variety of finance and communications roles. Mariem is a seasoned investor relations professional with over 10 years of experience in the field.

Prior to joining Teneo, she was Director, Investor Relations and Public Affairs with Fiera Capital, a global asset management firm, where she was responsible for developing the Investor Relations strategy and overseeing its execution. Prior to that, she held roles in IR at Énergir, Resolute Forest Products and Aimia, where she advised senior leaders and supported the organization’s strategic narrative development. Mariem has also held various other positions over the course of her career including roles in investment banking, treasury operations and project management. Mariem began her career at the National Bank of Canada, in Treasury Back Office operations, specializing in derivative products.

Mariem holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal, an MBA from McGill University and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.

Mariem sat on the board of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute’s Quebec Chapter from 2015 to 2021. From 2019 to 2021 she was the Chair of the Chapter, while also serving on the organization’s National board. She was also a director of CFA Montreal’s board of directors from 2015 to 2019.

Mariem is Co-President of the Honorary Committee of Parle-moi d’amour, a major flagship event of the Montréal arts community and the main fundraiser of the organization Les Impatients, whose mission is to help people with mental health issues through artistic expression.
