Chief Risk Officer, Financial Advisory

Liam Boyle is Chief Risk Officer with Teneo in London, having joined Teneo as part of its purchase of Deloitte’s UK Restructuring business.

Liam is a chartered accountant with over 25 years of specialist financial advisory transactions experience in large, complex, cross border engagements. Over the last 15 years Liam has focused on quality and risk management, compliance and independence in the restructuring, transaction services, corporate finance advisory and valuations spaces in the UK and globally for Deloitte.

Prior to the acquisition, Liam served for 6 years on the ICAS Investigations Committee and had recently been appointed to the ICAS Discipline Board.

Liam was the Deloitte Global Transactions Quality and Risk Leader and  the Deputy Reputation and Risk Leader for their Global Financial Advisory Practice. He was also the risk partner responsible for the Deloitte Restructuring Services practice in the UK.

Liam joined Deloitte in 2000 as a client facing professional in the Transaction and Restructuring Services team focused on transaction services, restructuring services and insolvency engagements in the large, complex cross border space and for private equity clients. Prior to that he had roles with Price Waterhouse, Glen Drummond and Scottish Equitable.

Liam has a Bachelors in Accountancy & Finance from Heriot-Watt University and was admitted into the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in 1994.
