Kevin Holzapfel is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in Brisbane.
He has more than 20 years of corporate advisory experience, including five years based in the United Kingdom, advising financial institutions, corporates and government on business viability, risk management and restructuring solutions. Prior to joining Teneo following its acquisition of PwC’s Australian Business Restructuring Services unit, Kevin was a Partner at PwC, where he led the firm’s Brisbane Deals practice. In this role, he managed complex advisory and insolvency assignments and worked closely with boards and investors to develop tailored strategies and risk mitigation plans.
Kevin has deep experience in financial analysis, risk assessment and stakeholder engagement, having led numerous independent reviews and restructuring assignments for major banks, credit providers and government agencies, including viability reviews of large-scale infrastructure, mining and tourism projects. He has also acted as safe harbour advisor on capital raisings, advised on solvency matters and supported boards through complex restructuring processes across sectors including financial services, energy, construction, hospitality and agriculture.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants ANZ and the Turnaround Management Association.
