Katherine Kim is a Senior Managing Director in Teneo’s New York office. She advises clients on strategic communications and investor engagement, specializing in transformational transactions and financial situations such as M&A, IPOs, spin-offs and shareholder activism.
Katherine brings 20 years of transaction expertise from large- to small-cap clients across multiple sectors. Prior to joining Teneo, Katherine was a Director with Brunswick Group in New York where she executed a wide range of M&A transactions, with an emphasis on cross-border and regulatory issues.
Prior to Brunswick, Kathy spent five years in Sydney where she was the Thematic Analyst for Australian Equities at CLSA and a Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division.
She began her career at J.P. Morgan’s Diversified Industrials investment banking division in New York, where she supported clients on M&A transactions, IPOs, debt and equity capital raisings and leveraged buyouts.
Katherine graduated from Dartmouth College with honors in Government, focusing on International Relations.
