Jess Clayton is a Senior Consultant within Teneo’s public affairs team in London, advising clients on policy and regulatory issues.
Jess advises clients including FSTE 100 companies and multinationals on their political advocacy, with experience across a variety of sectors such as industrials, food and drink, technology, retail and healthcare. Before Teneo, Jess worked in the UK public affairs team at Edelman Global Advisory.
Prior to her time in public affairs, Jess worked for the Liberal Democrats for over four years, most recently as a Senior Media Officer in the Party’s Head Quarters, covering both print and broadcast media.
She also worked in Parliament for Wera Hobhouse, the Liberal Democrat MP for Bath, during which time they campaigned successfully to make upskirting a specific sexual offence. Jess also worked for Catherine Bearder, former Liberal Democrat MEP for the South East, in her Parliamentary office in Brussels.
Jess holds a first-class undergraduate degree in History from the University of Sheffield.
