Janet Sprosen is a Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business in New Zealand, based in Auckland.
Janet is a Barrister and Solicitor and a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in debt recovery and insolvency across both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Teneo as part of the acquisition of PwC’s New Zealand Business Restructuring Services unit, she was a Director in PwC’s Business Restructuring Services practice.
Earlier in her career at Inland Revenue, Janet was responsible for identifying emerging debt and insolvency risks, designing and implementing recovery strategies and providing technical and strategic advice on complex matters. Her experience included involvement in prosecutions and the recovery of debt from overseas taxpayers.
Janet has led and managed a wide range of insolvency appointments, including trading businesses across multiple industries. She focuses on delivering pragmatic, commercially grounded solutions that achieve the best possible outcomes for creditors and stakeholders.
