Managing Director

Jan Hromadko is a Managing Director with Teneo in Brussels.

Jan advises clients in a range of industries on interaction with policy makers, the media and other stakeholders in Brussels and across Europe. He specializes on corporate and financial communications, reputation management, and Public Affairs, advising clients on a range of topics, including all aspects of the European Green Deal.

Jan has broad experience in strategic communications around antitrust investigations and merger review processes. He has advised clients on a number of high-profile transactions, including the attempted combination of the transportation businesses of Alstom and Siemens and the successful mergers between Alstom and Bombardier as well as Suzano and Fibria, as well as the merger between HHI-DSME.

Prior to joining Teneo in February 2021, Jan worked at Brunswick in Brussels. Before that he was a financial PR consultant in Frankfurt. He started his career in journalism, writing for The Wall Street Journal in Germany for ten years with focus on the energy, steel, and aviation industries.
