Jake Leslie Melville

Senior Managing Director

Jake Leslie Melville joined Teneo from BCG where he was a longstanding Senior Partner in BCG’s energy practice. Jake has 25 years + of consulting experience working across the oil, gas, power and industrial goods value chains.

Jake has worked in strategy, operations, operating model design, M&A, restructuring, and technology / digital deployment, and with clients throughout Europe, Middle East, NAMR, West Africa and much of Asia. He has specialized over the last 5 years in helping clients prepare for the energy transition with a particular focus on renewable technologies. At BCG Jake led several large and global client relationships including Saudi Aramco in KSA and Shell’s global relationship.

Before BCG, Jake was with Booz Allen Hamilton where he led the European Oil and Gas Practice. Prior to consulting Jake worked for Dominion Resources, a North American power company.

Jake is a director of a windfarm company with 90MW built and in development and is a Trustee of the Wheelyboat Trust. Jake was an NED / chairman of audit committee with the Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust plc., a £500mln investment trust. He was elected a Young Global Leader by the WEF and was awarded the Badge of Honour for his work with the British Red Cross.
