Erik has extensive experience that includes: strategic communications program design and implementation; special situations advisory; transaction communications advisory; crisis management; initial public offerings advisory; international cross border communications advisory; branding and executive visibility advisory; and corporate events advisory.

Prior to joining Teneo, Erik was the Head of Grayling’s New York office, overseeing the Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Public Relations and Events Management practice groups. At Grayling, he was responsible for designing comprehensive communications programs for companies and organizations looking to expand their exposure in the global capital and media markets, as well as enhance their brand reputation and valuation.

Prior to joining Grayling, Erik held senior positions with Thomson Reuters, including key roles within their Communications Consulting, Capital Markets and Stock Surveillance practices.

Prior to Thomson Reuters, Erik was a Senior Analyst with Kissell-Blake, Inc.

As a graduate of Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business Administration, Erik received a bachelor’s degree in business management in 1992.

Erik has served as an expert speaker at NIRI national and regional conferences on topics such as investor relations, global financial communications and crisis management.
