Ella Burgess is a Vice President at Teneo, specialising in issues management for local and global clients. She advises organisations navigating complex, high stakes situations, supporting leadership teams on reputation critical matters including restructurings, corporate crises, stakeholder engagement, transaction communications and media relations.
Most recently, Ella has worked on a global, cross border investor relations and media engagement mandate for a leading ASX listed company. She also advised on the Chapter 11 restructuring of Australian cancer care provider GenesisCare.
Ella has supported senior executives through Senate inquiries and litigation proceedings, designed and executed government and media engagement programmes, provided strategic reputation counsel, and delivered crisis management and media training for executive teams.
Prior to joining Teneo, Ella was a Consultant at WSP, a global engineering consultancy, within the Communications and Engagement team. She advised clients across major infrastructure, professional services, education, energy and public policy.
Ella holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from the University of Sydney.
