Craig Sanson is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business in New Zealand, based in Auckland.
Craig has more than 20 years of restructuring experience and specialises in delivering practical solutions to complex commercial situations. Prior to joining Teneo as part of the acquisition of PwC’s New Zealand Business Restructuring Services unit, he was an Executive Director in PwC’s Business Restructuring Services practice, where he managed the Auckland liquidation business and took appointments across the upper North Island.
Craig advises directors, shareholders and creditors through periods of financial distress, helping to reduce pressure and achieve outcomes that maximise returns to stakeholders. His experience spans compromises, voluntary administrations, receiverships, short form removals, and both solvent and insolvent liquidations. He has supported trading businesses to achieve going concern sales and has overseen asset realisations to optimise recoveries for creditors.
Craig is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and a Fellow of the New Zealand Credit and Finance Institute.
