Conor Brophy

Director

Conor is Director at Teneo.

Prior to joining Teneo, Conor was a journalist and presenter with Ireland’s state broadcaster RTÉ. He has reported on news, current affairs, business and economics on radio, television and online. He presented The Media Show on RTÉ Radio 1. He was a regular presenter on Ireland’s most listened-to radio show Morning Ireland and also News at One, Drivetime, The Business and This Week. He is also a regular media and marketing columnist on with The Sunday Business Post.

Before joining RTÉ, Conor was business editor at Newstalk and was the presenter of the early morning radio show Breakfast Business. He began his career in journalism with The Sunday Tribune where he was a financial reporter covering Irish and international business news.

Outside of his media work, Conor frequently acts as an MC, chair and facilitator at corporate events and conferences. He has worked with clients including Aviva, Vodafone, Davy, Bord Gáis Energy, Knowledge Transfer Ireland and Brokers Ireland.
