Christian Lindner will officially begin his role as a Senior Advisor in March 2026.

Christian has a deep understanding of the European economy and is a highly respected advisor on issues of competitiveness and innovation. He is also an expert in political management and stakeholder communications. At Teneo, Christian focuses on expanding the firm’s growth and performance across Europe and around the globe.

Christian has over 25 years of experience in German and European politics and served as the Minister of Finance in Germany from 2021 to 2024. He was also chairman of Germany’s liberal and pro-business party FDP for more than a decade, achieving great electoral success. Today, he is an entrepreneur and investor who serves on boards across European industry and German small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Christian studied political science and constitutional law in Bonn, was an entrepreneur before entering politics and serves as a major in the German Air Force Reserve. He is also a Knight of the French Legion of Honor and a recipient of the Grand Decoration of Honor in Gold for Services to the Republic of Austria.
