Ben Herskowitz

Managing Director

Ben Herskowitz is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Strategy and Communications business, based in New York.

Ben focuses on investor relations and financial communications, advising public and private companies, C-suite executives and boards on investor engagement, financial communications, corporate positioning and event-driven situations. He helps clients develop clear, credible investor narratives, prepare for high-stakes market-facing communications and navigate moments of change, scrutiny and complexity.

Prior to joining Teneo, Ben independently managed personal capital through a macro-aware global equities strategy, applying cross-asset analysis, portfolio construction and risk management to evaluate market opportunities, investor behavior and public company narratives. Previously, Ben spent eight years at FTI Consulting, where he was a Senior Managing Director in the Financial Communications practice. He initially focused on capital markets and investor relations advisory, helping companies navigate earnings communications, strategic transactions, IPOs and broader investor engagement. Ben later built and led FTI’s ESG and Sustainability Advisory capability within the Financial Communications and Investor Relations platform.

Prior to FTI, Ben worked in corporate development for a private-equity-backed financial technology company focused on consumer lending and renewable energy, where he supported corporate messaging, fundraising and strategic growth initiatives. He began his career in investment banking with BB&T’s Windsor Group, an aerospace, defense and government contracting-focused sell-side M&A advisory group.

Ben holds a B.S. in Analytical Finance from Wake Forest University and the FSA Credential issued by the IFRS Foundation’s Sustainability Accounting Standards Board. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
