Andy Scott is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in Sydney.
He has more than 25 years of experience advising financiers, companies and individuals across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Teneo following its acquisition of PwC’s Business Restructuring Services unit, Andy was a Partner at PwC, where he worked across the mid-market with financial institutions, corporates and individuals in all forms of corporate and personal insolvency and other restructuring initiatives.
Andy has extensive experience in distressed real estate, commercial and development sites. He has also been involved in major corporation insolvency administrations such as the Panthera Finance Group, University Coop Bookshop as well as high profile bankruptcy administrations such as Tony Barakat (Keddies compensation lawyers), Eddy Groves (ABC Learning) and Geoffrey Edelsten as well as advising on numerous confidential assignments, providing strategic cash management and turnaround solutions to boards and investors.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University. He is a Registered Liquidator, Registered Trustee under the Bankruptcy Act and a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA) and the Turnaround Management Association of Australia.
