Andy Cottingham is a Manager with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in Leeds.

Andy has extensive experience in all types of Corporate Insolvency processes and specialises in assisting clients simplify their group structures. This includes advice on restructuring, rationalising, winding down and exiting businesses, with a view to eliminating companies either by strike off or members voluntary liquidation.

Andy is CPI qualified and is currently working towards his ACCA Qualification.

Selected Project Experience

• Project Douglas – Advice and support to the board of a national consumer retail group in respect of the operational and legal wind down of each of the entities within the group ahead of their solvent liquidation, including negotiations with landlords in respect to the vacation of leasehold sites.
• Project Custodes – Support and assistance in the solvent wind up a Care Homes group, including managing the sale of the remaining company assets in the subsequent liquidation, and the distribution to members of the cash realised by the sale of the business.
• Project Hooch – Solvent liquidation of a UK entity following the sale of the underlying operating business to enable for the distribution of funds to varying classes of shareholders.
