Adam Thomson is a Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in London.
Adam works in the Forensic Technology practice, and leads Forensic Analytics, specialising in the use of proprietary and bespoke data assets to help clients respond to regulatory investigations and disputes. He is a trusted advisor to his clients who helps them resolve the highly sensitive challenges they face in relation to corporate crime.
Prior to joining Teneo, Adam worked in Deloitte Forensic as a leader in the Analytics space, specialising in investigations and business intelligence. He has led a number of high-profile projects, including collective proceedings orders (i.e. competition and market abuse), sanctions, fraud, tax evasion and bribery, amongst other corporate crime investigations.
Adam also helps clients in understanding and acquiring data assets, specialising in structured data from enterprise resource systems (such as accounting, HR, logistics, products and CRM), which can be used in data preservation and systems mapping exercises, investigations and disputes.
Adam regularly works alongside in-house counsel and investigations teams at organisations and local and international law firms. He provides specialist advice on the end-to-end process of the identification, collection, processing, analysis and review of data in investigations and disclosures in proactive, reactive or crisis scenarios.
Adam has a Master of Business and Information Technology from the University of Melbourne (Australia) and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Monash University (Australia).
