Adam Colley is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in Sydney.
He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate advisory and restructuring, developing and implementing solutions for financial stakeholders across a wide range of sectors in Australia and Europe.
Prior to joining Teneo following its acquisition of PwC’s Australian Business Restructuring Services unit, Adam was a Partner at PwC, where he focused on corporate restructuring, distressed M&A, infrastructure and special situations advisory.
During his career, Adam has focused on providing restructuring and recovery services to lenders and corporate clients across a wide range of industries, including financial restructurings, sourcing new capital, complex stakeholder management and negotiation, formal insolvency appointments, asset assessment and investigations, independent business reviews, short-term cash flow monitoring, contingency planning and helping to develop business turnaround plans.
In recent years, Adam has developed significant experience in the infrastructure and energy sector having advised on several challenged project financed situations for a full spectrum of stakeholders. He is the ongoing lead adviser to the lenders of a major solar project in NSW, recently advised the secured creditor to the East Rockingham Waste to Energy plant in Western Australia and was previously involved in the receiverships of major projects such as the BrisConnections’ Airportlink tunnel in Queensland and the Ararat Prison PPP project in Victoria.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University. He is a Registered Liquidator and a Member of both Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA).
