Teneo’s Financial Advisory Business in Bermuda Announces Promotions



Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointments of Andrew Shailer to Managing Director and Nathan Bickley-May to Director* with the firm’s Financial Advisory business in Bermuda.

Andrew, who is originally from Bermuda, returned to home in 2011 following a long-term secondment to one of the Big-4 accounting firms in London. Andrew has over 20 years of experience leading complex restructuring engagements and specialises in cross-border restructuring engagements. Andrew has a proven track record of extracting value from complex and distressed situations. He has worked across many sectors, with a focus on (re)insurance and funds.

Nathan is a JIEB-qualified insolvency practitioner with over 15 years of insolvency and restructuring experience. Nathan has significant experience advising businesses of varying sizes and complexities across a range of sectors, including the digital asset sector. Nathan strives to provide a hands-on, solution-focused approach to his clients and stakeholders.

These promotions follow the late 2023 hire of Mark Allitt from KPMG in Bermuda as a Senior Managing Director. Mark was a Managing Director at KPMG in Bermuda, head of their advisory practice and regional insurance sector leader. Mark has extensive experience in the insurance industry over the past 20 years, of which the last 15 years have been based in Bermuda, working on reinsurance consulting engagements for both P&C and life insurers within Bermuda and internationally.
