Teneo Appoints Tom van Rooyen as a Senior Managing Director

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Tom van Rooyen as a Senior Managing Director, based in London. Tom joins the firm’s People Advisory business to lead our CFO Practice. Tom will focus on executive search and leadership advisory within the finance function across a broad range of sectors and businesses.

Tom joins Teneo from Odgers Berndtson, where he was a Partner in the CFO Practice in London. During his time at Odgers, Tom specialised in identifying, supporting and advising emerging and established finance talent, as well as appointing Finance Directors and Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) across public and private companies, from small cap businesses to FTSE 100 firms. His expertise also includes the appointment of non-executive directors where finance expertise has been a critical requirement.

In addition to his role in the People Advisory team, Tom will work closely with Teneo’s broader business, providing integrated leadership and advisory services to clients across sectors, at a time when trust in financial leadership is more central than ever to business resilience and growth strategies.
