Teneo Announces New Senior Hires in UK



Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced that Andrew Ballheimer, former Global Managing Partner of Allen & Overy LLP will be joining us as a Senior Advisor starting later this year.

Andrew has enjoyed an award-winning legal career in M&A and capital markets and is a respected senior adviser to CEOs and boards. He has worked in London, Tokyo and New York advising both multinational corporations and global financial institutions on a wide range of matters including public takeovers, IPOs, rights issues, restructurings and corporate governance.

As Global Managing Partner of Allen & Overy LLP, Andrew shaped and delivered strategy, whilst driving the performance of the business.

In addition, Teneo is also pleased to announce that Christian May, Editor-in-Chief of City A.M., will be joining us as a Managing Director early next year.

Christian brings with him a wealth of expertise having led a team of 20 reporters for the past five years. During his time as Editor, Christian launched a number of editorial innovations including a redesign of the newspaper, development of a daily leader column, promotion of outside columnists and contributors and the launch of a popular podcast. City A.M's main editorial patches include international corporate, financial, economic and political news.

In addition to driving the newsroom, Christian represented City A.M. at a wide range of events, conferences and private gatherings, and often spoke on topical financial and political matters to UK and international audiences. He is a regular contributor to Sky News and BBC programmes.

Christian was previously Head of Communications and Campaigns at the Institute of Directors. He is a Fellow of the British American Project and is an Advisory Board member of the Institute of Economic Affairs and the International Business and Diplomatic Exchange.
