Teneo Appoints Lauren Chung CEO of Asia-Pacific Strategy & Communications



Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Lauren Chung as CEO of the firm’s Asia-Pacific Strategy & Communications business.

Lauren will lead the Strategy & Communications business in Asia-Pacific and drive growth across regional offices, including Beijing, Hong Kong SAR, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo.

Lauren has served as COO of Teneo’s Asia-Pacific business since 2017 and as extensive experience advising CEOs, c-suite, and leadership in the APAC region on achieving their strategic goals through complex stakeholder engagement and reputation challenges.

Over the last 15 years, she has advised private, public and social sector leaders on a range of critical affairs, including corporate strategy; environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy; policy advocacy and public affairs; strategic communications; stakeholder engagement and financial communications.

Lauren is most passionate about working with corporations to strategise, articulate and operationalise business models that seek to create sustainable and inclusive growth for all stakeholders.

Lauren is a Board Director of The Fred Hollows Foundation (Hong Kong), chairs the Women in Business Network at the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and sits on a Board Committee for Mother’s Choice.

She holds an eMBA from INSEAD, a Masters of International Business from Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts.

Lauren speaks conversational Mandarin. She lives in Hong Kong with her husband and three children.
