Vice President

Weizhen Li is a Vice President with Teneo, based in Shanghai, China.

With over 12 years of experience in public affairs and strategic communications, Weizhen is a seasoned communications consultant with a track record of advising clients across industries that include agriculture, FMCG, chemicals and financial services. She has also played leading roles on multiple public affairs mandates, delivering advisory services within complex corporate environments.

Weizhen has advised C-suite executives on government affairs and strategic stakeholder engagement. This is complemented by her experience in issues mitigation, reputation management and crisis management. Weizhen is also skilled in developing strategic content for external and internal communications; business continuity planning in times of crisis; and planning and executing corporate social responsibility (CSR) and thought leadership programs. Prior to Teneo, Weizhen was Head of Public Affairs for Oxford University Press’s China operations.

Weizhen is a native of China and has a Master’s in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University. She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
