Russell Chambers is an investment banker with over 35 years of experience advising boards and management teams on strategy and capital raising as a Senior Managing Director with Merrill Lynch, Investec and UBS. Russell also acted as the CEO of Credit Suisse’s U.K. business in the late 2000’s and then took a Senior Advisory role with Credit Suisse until stepping down in 2020.

Russell has had broad exposure to a range of industrial sectors and has a very strong track record of successfully taking a significant number of businesses public. Russell is currently a Senior Advisor with Bain Capital and one or two other financial services related businesses. Russell also continues to be involved in a number of privately held businesses, both as a shareholder and a director – including the Five Guys European JV. Russell also founded Mentore a mentoring platform.

Russell began his career with Hogan Lovells – where he qualified as a solicitor after reading law at UCL.
