Robert Knoll is a Managing Director with Teneo on the Client Strategy Team. In this role, he focuses on new business development, shareholder activism defense, financial communications, investor relations, M&A advisory, capital structure optimization and valuation analysis.
Prior to joining Teneo, Robert was an Investment Banker with TD Securities. In that role, he was responsible for structuring and originating loans, bridge loans and revolvers for a portfolio of Large Cap Wholesale Bank clients across a variety of industries, including consumer discretionary, consumer staples, financial services, automotive, industrial and real estate & lodging. Before TD Securities, Robert worked for Commerzbank AG’s Risk Management division, where he worked with the U.S. Chief Risk Officer and senior management to better monitor, define and manage key risk factors following the financial crisis of 2007-2008.
Robert has a dual MBA in Finance & Investments and Marketing from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. He is a CFA charterholder.
