
Randee Day
A maritime professional with over 35 years of experience, Randee Day has been designated one of the world’s most influential global maritime executives. She has expertise in restructuring, executive leadership, corporate governance and maritime finance. Randee joined Teneo in connection with its acquisition of Goldin Associates, LLC. She serves as a Senior Advisor to Teneo and leads its maritime practice.
Randee has extensive experience managing shipping entities and orchestrating deals relating to shipping portfolios, including various classes of vessels and other maritime assets. Notably, she advised General Maritime Corp., one of the world’s largest publicly-traded oil tanker companies, on its $1.6 billion bankruptcy and successful emergence from bankruptcy. She was previously the interim CEO of DHT Holdings, Inc., a publicly-traded owner/operator of crude oil tankers, and before that, Head of Maritime Investment Banking at the Seabury Group, CEO of her own advisory firm, Day & Partners, Inc., and Division Head of JP Morgan’s Global Shipping Group, where she oversaw a loan portfolio in shipping and offshore energy, in excess of $1 billion.
Randee has sat on the boards of directors of Tidewater Inc, TBS International, Ltd., Ocean Rig ASA, Excel Maritime, and DHT Holdings. In these positions she served on numerous committees, including as Chair of Audit (DHT) and Chair of Governance (Tidewater), and Member of Audit (Tidewater) and Governance (DHT). She is presently serving as Audit Chair of International Seaways and Governance Chair of Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. and serves as a Member of the Audit Committee of Valhalla Shipping.
She is also a Director of the American Georgian Business Council (AGBC) in Washington, D.C. AGBC is the official bilateral trade council between the United States and the Republic of Georgia and promotes judicial reform, and NATO and EU membership for the country.
Ms. Day has a BA from the School of International Relations, University of Southern California. She also received a Graduate Certificate in National and International Security from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and is a Graduate of the Stanford University’s Director College.
