Senior Advisor

Nancy Hernreich Bowen is a Senior Advisor with Teneo. She has lived and worked in Asia since 2001. In her current capacity, Ms. Bowen utilizes her experience, knowledge of Asia, and senior level U.S. and Asian business and government relationships to assist CEOs and other C-level executives of major global corporations with their cross-border business interests. She has specifically assisted clients with Asia and U.S. trade strategy, relationship-building, reputation building, media and issues and crisis management.

Prior to joining Teneo, Ms. Bowen was a Senior Advisor for McLarty Associates.

Previously, Ms. Bowen was the Managing Director of the Clinton Global Initiative Asia, with responsibility for the planning and management of a major event which included over 400 of the most influential Asian business, government and civil society leaders. From 1993-2001 Ms. Bowen was Assistant to the President and Director of Oval Office Operations. Her responsibilities in the White House included: managing the President’s office, where she oversaw communications at all levels with the President; directing access to the President; maintaining the President’s priorities and schedule; and, as his longest serving senior aide, advising him on a range of issues and presidential matters.

Ms. Bowen is on the Asia Pacific Council of The Nature Conservancy and is a member of the Hong Kong Forum, the International Women’s Forum and the Pacific Council.

Ms. Bowen graduated with honors from Webster College in St. Louis, Missouri.
