Keri Sutherland

Managing Director

Keri Sutherland is a Managing Director at Teneo, based in the Dubai office.

She joined from Hanover Communications where she devised and deployed reputation management programmes for listed companies and government entities. Keri specialises in strategic communications and crisis & issues advisory, helping clients navigate through complex regulatory, geopolitical and media environments.

In her previous role, she led the MENA crisis & issues practice and worked as a trusted partner to clients including Expo 2020 Dubai, Tata Steel, GE, DeBeers, Saab, and General Mills among others.

Keri is a qualified media and crisis trainer and is adept at delivering sophisticated C-suite and multi-stakeholder training and simulations. A former investigative journalist and producer, she has filed dispatches from across the globe as a staff reporter for international media including The Mail on Sunday, the Daily MailChannel 4 Dispatches, the China Daily and the Sunday Mirror.

She has lived and operated in several markets including South East Asia, the Nordics, Europe and the Middle East and holds an MA from the University of Edinburgh as well as an NCTJ Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism.
