Kainoa Blaisdell

Vice President

Kainoa Blaisdell is a Vice President with Teneo, based in Singapore. His responsibilities cover financial communications, investor relations, media cultivation, content and narrative development, as well as corporate storytelling for clients primarily in the financial services sector.

Before joining Teneo, Kainoa led Asia-Pacific content strategy for a global alternative investment data and analytics company where he crafted research reports on the private capital market and developed thought leadership for institutional investors, fund managers and industry service providers from around the world. Prior to this role he was a financial journalist with Mergermarket Group (Acuris) covering Asia-Pacific’s fast paced M&A and private equity landscape in the energy, mining, and TMT (technology, media & telecoms) space.

Kainoa started his career in private wealth management working for an international multi-family office in Russia, London and Singapore where he managed an in-house research and due diligence team to advise ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals from Eastern Europe.

Kainoa graduated with an MBA (distinction) in finance from Queen Mary, University of London and holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics. He is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI UK) and a member of the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore (IPRS). Kainoa has passed level 1 of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter and is working on becoming a full charterholder.
