Senior Managing Director

Joy Peters is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo Management Consulting. Joy brings over 25 years advisory experience with the C-suite focusing on strategic and operational issues to drive growth and margin improvement. He has served as the lead client service partner for Fortune 500 firms.

Prior to Teneo, Joy was at EY-Parthenon where he was a Principal. He was also previously Head of the Strategy Practice for Accenture’s Consumer Products in North America, and a Partner with Kearney Inc., where he was Head of Pricing and Revenue Management and co-Head of the Americas Food & Beverage sector.

Joy’s client engagements have included large corporate margin transformation programs, performance improvement across sales and supply chain management, and M&A. He has led growth programs around corporate strategy, digital transformation, pricing/trade management, portfolio simplification and value-chain collaboration.

Joy is active in thought-leadership publication efforts for the consumer industry. He has written on the challenges and changes in brands, sales and customer management for Forbes, the Marketing Insider and CPG Matters. He pioneered and launched a research and conference series jointly with Jefferies on the relevance of brands.

Joy holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Engineering from the Australian National University. He has lived and worked across four continents.
