Ehab Al Malky is an Arabic editor, copywriter and translator with more than 16 years’ experience working in the GCC. He has vast experience and high-level skills in quality writing, editing and arabization of press releases, key messages, talking points, brochures, presentations, speeches, fact sheets, magazines, websites, video scripts, social media content and many other materials.
Ehab is currently working as Head of Arabic Media Content at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and a key member of Teneo‘s team contracted to Qatar 2022. In the Qatar 2022 Communications team, he is leading the team responsible for the arabization, editing and writing assignments for the qa website and all publications as well as the social media content for Qatar 2022 platforms and all other collateral.
Before joining Qatar 2022 in 2017, Ehab worked at Frame Communications in Qatar as a Senior Arabic Editor/Translator, predominantly working on the ExxonMobil Qatar and Katara accounts, and prior to that, he worked for the international public relations group, Action Global Communications (AGC), as their GCC Regional Arabic Editor/Translator for over eight years.
Working in a regional position at AGC, provided Ehab with a unique opportunity to handle work assignments for several high profile clients across various sectors in the region, including oil and gas, sports, banking, aviation, publishing, automobile, manufacturing, and travel & tourism, as well as many government bodies.
Ehab began his career in his country Egypt after graduation from university in 1998 as a translator at a research center before moving to Qatar in 2002 to join Lowe Empire Advertising International as an Arabic Translator/ Copywriter for five years. In addition to a university degree in English language and literature, Ehab holds a postgraduate diploma in translation and a higher diploma in education (English Methodology).
