Christian May

Managing Director

Christian May is a Managing Director with Teneo, based in London.

Christian brings with him a wealth of expertise having led a team of 20 reporters for the past five years as Editor-in-Chief of City A.M. During his time as Editor, Christian launched a number of editorial innovations including a redesign of the newspaper, development of a daily leader column, promotion of outside columnists and contributors and the launch of a popular podcast. City A.M’s main editorial patches include international corporate, financial, economic and political news.

In addition to driving the newsroom Christian represented City A.M. at a wide range of events, conferences and private gatherings, and often spoke on topical financial and political matters to UK and international audiences. He is a regular contributor to Sky News and BBC programmes.

Christian was previously Head of Communications and Campaigns at the Institute of Directors. He is a Fellow of the British American Project and is an Advisory Board member of the Institute of Economic Affairs and the International Business and Diplomatic Exchange.
