Ben Lovett is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Strategy and Communications business, based in London.
Ben has over 20 years of communications experience, working across the corporate, financial and consumer spaces in sectors including technology, financial services, sports, retail, telecommunications, energy and entertainment. Focused on building effective, audience-led strategies for clients that enhance reputation and unlock opportunity, Ben is an accomplished advisor who brings versatile, cut-through thinking to the table when navigating today’s global communications challenges.
Prior to joining Teneo in 2019, Ben held a number of senior in-house communications posts with major brands including Ocado, Dixons Carphone and Merlin Entertainments. Ben advised Ocado through its 2010 IPO process and established its communications department, whilst leading a variety of successful reputation-building campaigns for the latter two companies incorporating multi-channel media, thought leadership programs, consumer and stakeholder engagement, and decisive issues management. Ben has also worked as an editor and journalist, and advised several digital start-ups on profile-building and the development of marketing and communications functions fit to power their initial fast growth and funding phases; not least aviation specialist Victor, where he sat on the senior leadership team.
Ben holds a BA (Hons) degree in English and American Literature from the University of Warwick.
