Alita is a highly experienced former multimedia journalist with 15 years of expertise across broadcast, print and digital. Most recently she spent 10 years working as an Assistant Editor and Senior Producer at the BBC for the BBC News Channel and the BAFTA-winning Victoria Derbyshire Programme.
Alita has produced and edited live programmes and bulletins and led the output during major breaking stories such as the death of Nelson Mandela, royal weddings and the BBC’s election and budget coverage. Before working in broadcast news, Alita was a senior print journalist where she held positions including Business Correspondent, Court Reporter and Education Correspondent as well as writing and filming reports for online and social. As a Teneo Leadership Coach she has worked with senior leaders at Facebook, O2, McDonald’s and BT.
