Rob Shorthouse Joins Teneo as a Managing Director



Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Rob Shorthouse as a Managing Director in the firm's Dubai office.

Rob Shorthouse has over 20 years of experience in providing strategic communications counsel to government leaders, senior politicians, CEOs and other public figures in the UK, Asia and the Middle East. A specialist in narrative building, campaigning and strategy development, Rob has worked on major political campaigns, international sporting event bids and transformation projects in a number of large organisations.

Prior to joining Teneo, Rob was a Partner with Consulum and led the work on the ‘Relaunch Hong Kong’ campaign – designing a global communications and marketing strategy for the Hong Kong government. Earlier in his career, Rob was a senior advisor to the First Minister of Scotland, Head of Communications for the Scottish Football Association and was Director of Communications and special advisor to the Chief Constable of the second largest police force in the UK. Rob was also the Director of Communications for ‘Better Together,’ the successful campaign to keep Scotland in the UK during the 2014 independence referendum.

Rob holds a degree in Film Studies and Politics from the University of Stirling.
