Teneo Ireland is looking for a seasoned strategic thinker with a killer creative spark who can develop stand out campaigns and inspire the brand team to deliver your vision with excellence.

You will be an important part of the brand communications senior team, working closely with the managing directors on the day to day running of the business and team, ensuring:

You will lead a number of important Teneo clients and build relationships with senior clients, becoming an indispensable asset to them, and in turn, continuing to cement the client/Teneo relationship long into the future.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Senior strategic lead on key consumer brand accounts
    • Responsible for organic growth, unlocking opportunities, client satisfaction, team delivery, account financials etc.
  • Brand team / business management alongside Brand MDs and Director level + above liaison across the wider business
  • CEO / CMO counsel and relationship building
    • Ongoing client advisory, strategic liaison, service expansion opportunities
  • Develop a solid understanding of the client’s business, market, and industry
  • Demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for their business and leverage your understanding to unlock new business opportunities
  • Unleash your creative brilliance through the development of stellar, innovative brand strategies and campaigns
  • Develop strategic brand communications plans from start to finish
  • Ensure the quality output and delivery of client projects on time and on budget
  • Day-to-day client and internal communication
  • Protect and grow revenue through effective financial administration, including estimate generation, billing, and third-party financial administration
  • Monitor and measure campaign performance on an ongoing basis
  • Oversee, encourage, and mentor team members
    • Talent management for account director / account manager / senior account executive levels
    • Retention and development of future ‘stars’
    • Guiding personal development plans for key individuals
  • Be actively involved in new business efforts
    • Leading and contributing to major new business opportunities, including network building in and outside Teneo globally, proactive new business development, marketing etc.
  • Member of the Teneo Ireland senior client advisory team (multi-divisional)
    • Reporting of client health status, growth opportunities, threats, cross-COE (centre of excellence/divisional) collaboration on client growth and new business

Key Criteria: 

  • Excellent media and influencer contacts
  • Experience developing and managing consumer campaigns from start to finish
  • Demonstrable experience in developing creative brand ideas and campaign strategy
  • A passion for brands, media and communications
  • Issues management, media relations, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines across several different accounts
  • An absolute passion for social media
  • An ability to oversee and manage busy and complex accounts
  • Flawless writing and critical thinking skills
